Description:

 

This Youngtimer did not require reconstruction because it was in very good condition. Its owner after several years of faithful service decided to devote it to the sport. First of all, the old engine with a capacity of 1600 cm3 has been replaced with a new unit with a capacity of 1800 cm3 from Escort Mk 5. In addition to the major renovation it is equipped with two carburetors  Delorte 40, sports exhaust, oil cooler and sports ignition. For smooth running in sport competitions we needed to put  sports and very hard suspension. For safety reasons we have installed safety rolling cage, four point seatbelts and bucket seats. Youngtimer due to it low weight, relatively high power and smooth driving scored several successes in amateur races.
